Homeschooling doesn't work

The supporter of homeschooling promote that homeschooling is surely beneficial for the relationship between parents and children and even help children live more happily and healthy.

However, behind the perfect ideal of homeschooling, it conceals the appalling truth in the reality. The serious problems of homeschooling are revealed continually recently such as the fierce conflict between parents and children and also the problem of the abusing. According to the Coalition for responsible of Home Schooling, there were 94 cases of fatalities in homeschooling of America from 2000 to the present due to” the abusing of physical, verbal and emotional, confinement and food deprivation , isolation and totalistic families, sexual, adoption and special needs, medical neglect and identity abuse, trafficking and missing children.”
Lately, there was a case of abusing of physical. According to the Homeschooling's Invisible Children (Rachel, 2014), which is based on the documents of newspapers,
on February 6, 2014, Horn Lake, Mississippi “11-year-old Tyler Raines was found dead in his home, covered with bruises and malnourished.” Tyler was homeschooled by his father and stepmother for two years; he was not allowed to go outside and also been exhibited from relatives and biological mother. Their parents were accused of “the capital murder and felonious child abuse and neglect.”
From the report of medical neglect abusing (clmccracken, 2014), on January 12, 2014, North Dakota” Aidan Edward Bossingham, age 13, was starved to death by his mother, Jessica Lee Jensen. He weighed 21 pounds when he died.” Aidan was a homeschooling child, diagnosed with a human growth hormone deficiency, but his mother did not give him the medical care or bring him to see doctor. Finally, the mother was accused of the murder.”
The abusing affair was not only happened on American but also happened on Taiwanese.       According to Pound Pup Legacy (Kerry and Niels, 2009), on February, 11, 2009, a 16 year old boy who was educated at home was adopted by his “biological aunt Tai-Ling (Han) Gigliottiat at age 4 in Taiwan” was founded that he was beaten to his arm broken and also covered with “bruises and lacerations” for three years in Spring Hill, Florida, United States
From the abusing of cases of homeschooling, the reports uncover the truth of homeschooling, presenting the problem of homeschooling in the reality. Homeschooling may become a great danger for child, since children may have no access to the outside world for help. However, the fact of serious problems in homeschooling of reality seems to remind and promote the government and institute to face and cope with the truth so that homeschooling may not continually turn out to be the tool of committing sins for any adults.
Observing these cases of the fatalities, the regulations and laws are necessary and significant for protecting children to prevent more tragedies happening. In Taiwan, the government called homeschooling as Non-school experimental education and the regulations of protecting homeschooling’s children had increased recently.
According to the Laws and regulations from Ministry of Education, if people would like to apply for homeschooling, they shall provide the “name of the experiment education, purpose, methods, content (including curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment amount of the intended use of facilities, equipment, and other items), the host with the relevant information to participate in educational and expected results of laboratory personnel,” to the Municipal or county (city) government for examination. (Article 16)Moreover, parliament members, commissioned academic groups or professional counseling agencies shall visit every homeschooled family or group in every year and publish the results of visiting to evaluate their qualification.(Article 17) (Ministry of Education, 102)
In addition, the mechanic of preventing children from not going to the school, the government also compels that children between 6 to 15 years of age shall receive compulsory education (Article 2). Besides, in the case of school-age children whose household is relocated,” the student’s new household administration authority shall provide the local compulsory education committee with a copy of the Notification to Undertake Compulsory Enrollment or School Transfer.”(Article 15) And if parents do not adhere to the warning, they “shall be fined NT$ 100”; this penalty “shall be continued until enrollment.” (Article 7, K-12 Education Administration, Ministry of Education, 2011)
However, the regulations are still not complete. The government may not detect the children who are without household registration; the children may stay in the danger of being abused by parents excused from home education. Whereas the visiting from the government, the effect of protection for children seems limited and suspected, since parents may disguise and conceal the truth of abuse.
To solve the problems, the solutions are not only the inspection  of the government but also the specific individual interview of psychology counseling for homeschooled children. As for the lack of household registration, government shall cooperate with the hospital to register every newborn babies and send out more social workers with the chief of village to investigate the populations of children thoroughly, setting the system for children's educational right in the community.
